This particular design, which can also be seen on the magazine advert, has taken influence from Kanye West as well as Virgil Abloh. The repetition of text close together has taken inspiration from one of Kanye Wests album called 'Life of Pablo', which uses repeated text is numerous different positions of the front cover, back cover and CD of the digipak. The speech marks used are most commonly found on designs created by Abloh himself, for brands such as Nike and Off-White. They are used to make the audience question the validity of what is in the speech marks, meaning I would like my audience to judge the artist on the quality of song, music video and designs that have been included.

This back cover draft includes an image of my artist with his back to the audience, which could suggest that he has something to hide or not want to show/share. Barcode and copyright information is in the bottom right corner, containing artist and record label websites as well as the executives= producers and management. The song list contains eight tracks that in order tell a story to the audience listening to the songs. For example, 'Wanna See' is saying do you want to see my girlfriend/ex-girlfriend and then the next song is 'Meet My Ex'. Another example of this is the song 'Black Out', which is followed by 'Game Over'. This is making a link with retro games as when you get caught or run out of lives, the game ends with a black screen containing the words 'GAME OVER'. As the artist potentially has something to hide, it makes sense that the album tells a story that maybe is confessing or revealing these secrets in order.

This is my final version of my front cover for my digipak. To show synergy, I have used the same white tape text boxes as well as the same font from my magazine advert. Furthermore, I have used a picture of my artist at his current age. This is to show his progression as an artist and ambition from a young boy, which was seen in the magazine advert. As previously mentioned, artists such as Lil Wayne and Lil Yatchy use images of their younger selfs to show their love of music from a young age and how their dreams became reality, which in turn, I wanted to show that also. Finally, the parental advisory stamp is very visible on the front of the digipak as I want that to be clear, however, my target audience for this particular genre of music will be able to listen to this.
